Saturday Night Party-Prep

So last night was sort of a snooze-fest for me at home, so I decided to fill my time with a pair of straighteners and a photo camera. I caught a tutorial for curls from my hairdressers page, and it just made everything so clear. But… Curling with a straightener is an art that takes time to perfect. So i decided to take that time last night. I was fully prepared to totally cause a disaster on my head, so I didn’t make any plans to go out – you know, just in case. The whole head took me about, 30-40 minutes including the logistical mind work that went along with it – which side do you approach form? which side do you flip? It was a whole lot less time consuming than I originally thought so I’ll definitely be wearing this look again. (Let’s just hope I’m good at it now, and it wasn’t just a random case of beginners luck.)

Also, a small update on my career life. A few weeks ago I applied for a marketing interns position at Estonia’s biggest fashion retail chain, Baltika Group. Baltika is the company behind five of Estonia’s largest clothes and accessories brands: Monton, Ivo Nikkolo, Bastion, Baltman, Mosaic. Since the position gets to work with the brands as a whole, I’d be getting such an experience on marketing to various groups of people: men, young adults, adults, etc. So my interview is on monday, (Tomorrow!!!) and I hope that I’m all that they’re looking for.

Meanwhile, enjoy my mood-music from yesterday and glimpse over my masterpiece (aka. the curls). Oh, and although my plans didn’t include going out, the curls made me so happy and I wanted to share them with everyone. So surprise, surprise, I went to a party. I think people were shocked to see my hair in such a do, since everyone looked at them, and just complimented their butts off… Can’t not mention the compliment from this summer: “Wow, you look so good, I didn’t recognise you.” Thank you for your kind words sir, but don’t worry I’ll go back to my ugly self tomorrow where you’ll recognise me more easily.
