Since my freezer is full of boxed fruits and summer has already arrived, I feel that I need to use them all up really quick to make room for new ones. That’s why this particular bowl is filled with 5 different components.

1 banana
1 cup of frozen strawberries
1/2 of a mango
1/2 cup of rhubarb
1/2 cup of blackcurrants
1 cup of water
3 tablespoons of Balance Blend
Topped with chia, granola & black currant juice

In all honesty, I used to make all my smoothies with yoghurt. You know, the really tasty sugary one that makes your smoothies creamy and super yum? At one point, I came to realise that with all the sugar I’m ingesting through the yoghurt, I’m completely ruining the point of a healthy smoothie! It was so difficult to get the quantities right but I’ve finally achieved the perfect balance and they taste just as good – now with just water.

I’m gonna go back to enjoying this awful weather now.
